The dress doesn’t fit right, but with a bit of adjusting in the back with some ribbon and adding the belt it looks spiffy. :)
In support of Pride month I’m offering a rainbow of 8 wigs for the price of 6 through the end of June in any size! I already have about one wig in each size/color combo so the first few packs will ship super fast. :-)

Taking new sales photos for my shop with the ole slr and snuck a phone photo in.
My shop is once again live! Woohoo! Here’s a preview of some new wig colors and hats coming soon to the shop. A couple of the new wig colors are very limited since the fur is discontinued and I only had a tiny bit, like that great frosted brown on the left of the photo. :-B

Yeah, they’re my dolls and my characters… But they wouldn’t normally be together.
And then there were five.
Five Kuns. This is what happens when I wait too long to get the first doll I ever wanted.
Sirena the Mermaid (Silhouette took on a new name for the show) winner of the Anthropomorphic Costume Contest at the PNW BJD Expo.

Her fins are taxidermy reproduction salmon fins, which were a gift from Allison Wonder. I painted them on Friday and drilled holes in them late Friday night. Saturday in the car I sewed them onto her outfit on the way to the expo. I also made her crown out of wire and shell beads in the car on the way.
She also has gills! I painted her gills on with modelling paste and accented them with a bit of gouache paint.
Her tail is paillettes fabric hand sewn over a shaped spandex tube I serged to fit her legs. Her legs are rubber banded together and there are wooden balls with a screw eye in her ankles holding her elastic so she’d stay together. The silver dangles are a necklace bit I found at Joann’s. I sewed it to the tail in such a way I will have to find and cut the threads to get the tail off. Oops. Her bra is silk dupioni and is only there because she had to be covered to be decent for the show. Mermaids aren’t exactly shy in my book. ;-)
My faceup entry at the PNW BJD Expo won!
Delf Lishe on Volks SD10 body with Automail arms. Goggles and wig by me. Hat by Kathel. Faceup by me (obviously, lol). It is done with chalk pastels, acrylic paint, gold pearl powder, and an airbrush for the exhaust/dirt effect. I painted her last layer with the goggles on. The black and gold is sealed onto her face, but not on the goggles, so if you touch the goggles you might come away with a bit of sparkle. ;-)

I can finally share photos of my husband’s set for the PNW BJD Expo. He made a scale model of Dr. Frankenstein’s laboratory. I patterned and made the lab coat from scratch, as well as the goggles. :D
